The minimum number of bees to be checked is 200 pcs., maximum 300 pcs.

Place the container of bees in a container of liquid and shake gently for about 60 seconds. If there is a mite, it will fall to the bottom of the outer glass. It is also necessary to release the bees, drain the liquid and calculate the percentage of infection. To do this, the Varroa Check manufacturer recommends dividing the number of visible mites by 3 if 300 bees were used and by 2 if 200 bees were used.
