The galvanized latch clamp for hives is designed for fixing parts of hives during transportation and work in the apiary.

Consists of a latch with a loop and a hook. To fasten the two parts of the hive you need a pair of clamps. One clamp is mounted on one side, the other on the opposite side, placing them in the center of the hive wall.

The clamps are attached to the hive with nails or screws in the assembled state so that the latch closes with a slight tension. The latch is attached to the lower fastened part, and the hook to the upper.
